Learn the art of fresh cheesemaking β then taste your creation on a hand-tossed, wood-fired pizza. This immersive, farm-to-table experience brings together the joy of crafting mozzarella from scratch and the satisfaction of sharing a meal you made with your own hands.
π§ Part 1: Cheesemaking β Stretch, Shape & Shine
Introduction to Milk & Cultures: Learn about local milk, curds, and the science of cheesemaking.
Hands-On Curd Work: Cut, heat, and stretch curds into silky mozzarella.
Shaping Techniques: Form classic balls & Stracciatella
Tasting Session: Sample your cheese warm with olive oil, herbs, and sea salt.
π Part 2: From Curd to Crust β Wood-Fired Pizza Experience
Dough Demo: Learn the secrets of soft, blistered pizza dough using long fermentation and quality flour.
Build Your Own Pizza: Choose from seasonal, locally sourced toppings β fresh tomatoes, basil, wild mushrooms, prosciutto, or garden vegetables. (availability of toppings dependent on the season)
Fire & Feast: Bake your pizza in the wood-fired oven and enjoy it together under the open sky (or cozy indoors if weather shifts).
Optional Add-On: bring your own local wine or craft beer for pairing.
