Mother’s Day Cheese Sunday May 11th @ 11am
In class we will first discuss sourcing your “good milk” for cheesemaking and problems that may arise with conventional store bought milk due to the ULTRA high heat pasteurization methods and homogenization methods used by factory farming.
We will discuss the six step process of making all cheeses and how we manipulate that process to create different cheeses. You will learn the science behind the process and how the cultures and microbiology help to ferment milk into cheese.
You will leave knowing how home cheesemakers age cheese to perfection, how to set up a home cheese cave as well as where to source all your equipment and supplies.
Sunday May 11th at 11am.
Feel free to bring any beverage to enjoy during class.
Classes are taught in my open and airy kitchen located at 45 Pilgrim Spring Rd, Wellfleet on Cape Cod.
Cost is $140 for two people!
All sales for classes are non refundable. In the event you can not attend after purchase please contact Sadie to discuss attendance at another scheduled class of the same or lesser value.
